
MIST
What is MIST?
MIST stands for Muslim Interscholastic Tournament. Once a year most of the High School MSA's in New York gather and compete in widely diverse range of competitions. From then on, the winners of the regional competiton are then placed in a national competition. States will compete against one another. This is MIST 's tenth year and we hope that you will compete with us. With competitions ranging from Social Media to Extemporaneous Writing to Basketball to Math Olympics, there is a competition for everyone.
How can I join?
Come to room 351 after school and speak to one of our members on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thurdays from 3:00 to 3:40.. Even though, this years MIST registration has ended, you can be updated for next years Mist competiton. MSA will continue throughout the entire year so please join us.
NEST+m MIST Team
This is Nest+m's second year in MIST. We started with only six MIST competitors in 2015. This year we have grown and we are looking forward to have fun, meet new people and win first place. With the guidance of allah, our dedicated members, and hardwork, we will be able to expand our MIST team and MSA. Lets move forward Najme Nest.
This years theme
Our time in this world is limited. We must guide ourselves towards the path of rigtheosness. This year's theme is Race against time. This year MIST NY regional will be held in Columbia University from March 25 to March 27. This years MIST National competiton will be held in Toronto. The date is yet to be announced.
